Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd has arrived at Molineux on a three-day trial.

Teenager Boyd finished as Killie’s top scorer last season with 12 goals and has been watched by Wolves chief scout George Foster for some time.

Wolves are also giving a trial to French midfielder Olivier Echouafni who is currently on the books of Strasbourg.

Wolves boss Dave Jones told Wolves’ official website: “We will be getting players in to take a closer look at them.

“Having players come in on trial is all part and parcel of the workings of a football club.”
