Molloy saves Rovers with last kick

Trevor Molloy deprived UCD of a win with the last kick of a thrilling match.

Robert McAuley appeared to have won it for College with a 90th minute penalty after he had been upended by Stephen Grant.

But Molloy latched onto a Jason Colwell ball to shoot past Patrick Jennings with the last kick of the match, two minutes into stoppage time.

UCD took the lead with a brilliant goal on 49 minutes.

Alan Cawley skipped past both Colwell and James Keddy to force Barry Ryan into a terrific parry save. But Darragh Ryan drove home the rebound.

Rovers upped the tempo and levelled on 64 minutes.

Keddy whipped over a superb cross and substitute Glen Fitzpatrick headed past Jennings.
