Conor O'Grady hit a goal of the season contender as Cork City ended a two-match losing run to come form behind to earn a point against rejuvenated Derry.

Midfielder O'Grady collected a loose ball some 30 yards out and hit a screamer of a shot into the roof of Wayne Russell's net to level on 64 minutes.

Derry took the lead on 32 minutes when Alan Bennett conceded a free kick 20 yards out.

Gary Beckett's shot then beat Michael Devine in the Cork goal having taken a deflection off the wall.
