Republic of Ireland Under-19 manager Sean McCaffrey has named a squad of 18 players for two friendly matches against Norway in Dublin later this month.

Republic of Ireland Under-19 manager Sean McCaffrey has named a squad of 18 players for two friendly matches against Norway in Dublin later this month.

The matches will be played on August 18 and August 20.

The two friendlies are designed as warm-up games for a four-nation tournament being held in San Marino in September.

The Irish are due to meet Bulgaria on September 18, the host nation San Marino two days later and Lithuania on September 22.

Included in the squad for the friendlies against Norway are goalkeeper Colin Doyle, who made his debut for Birmingham City in their recent tour in Malaysia, and former Kingdom Boys player Stephen O’Mahony who has joined Limerick FC.
