England captain David Beckham is likely to play his first match on Spanish soil in the hostile atmosphere of Valencia’s Mestalla stadium.

Real Madrid have agreed to play Valencia, who Real replaced as Spanish champions last season, in the pre-season Trofeo Naranjo on August 17.
