Drogheda survived the tricky trip to Ballybofey to make it through to the third round.

Harry McCue's men had the ideal start with the lead after seven minutes when Declan O'Brien headed home Darren Beesley's free kick.

But Harps were level within three minutes when Kevin McHugh slotted home a penalty after Nigerian Eloka Osukuh had been pulled down by Danny O'Connor.

Mark Quinless restored Drogheda's lead for what proved the winner eleven minutes later when he stabbed home from close range.
