Fergie rebuffs Beckham questions

Alex Ferguson has brushed aside demands for an explanation of his decision to sell David Beckham to Real Madrid – and would rather get his missing shirt back from Martin O’Neill.

Ferguson has so far failed to offer a public opinion on the £25m (€35.2m) departure of the England skipper and any thoughts intrepid American journalists might have had of getting the Manchester United boss to spill the beans in Seattle last night were swiftly dispelled.
