Ronaldinho passes Barca medical

Ronaldinho has passed a routine medical at Barcelona to complete his £21m (€27m) transfer from Paris St Germain.

The Spanish club yesterday won their battle with Premiership champions Manchester United to sign the World Cup winner.

The medical was the last obstacle which could have derailed the deal, but the Brazilian came through his physical examination with flying colours.

Club doctor Jordi Ardevol said: “Ronaldinho passed the medical tests satisfactorily, with a great attitude, and his physical state is excellent.”

Ronaldinho signed a five-year contract at the Nou Camp late last night.
