Dalglish eyes Northern Irish move

Former Wigan striker Paul Dalglish is set for talks with Northern Irish league side Linfield this week.

Dalglish, son of Liverpool legend Kenny, spent the latter part of last season on loan to Third Division Scunthorpe.

Linfield, who are known to be looking for a striker, face Airdrie in a friendly at Windsor Park on Thursday.
