Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has played down the seriousness of the injury which saw goalkeeper Stuart Taylor carried from the field during the friendly against Peterborough.

Taylor was taken off on a stretcher with a neckbrace fitted after colliding with the Posh’s Andy Clarke, raising concerns that the Gunners – already short of goalkeepers following the release of David Seaman – were approaching a crisis in the position.
