Kewell agrees five-year deal with Liverpool

Harry Kewell today confirmed he has agreed a five-year-deal with his boyhood heroes Liverpool in an interview on Australian television.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder was the subject of a transfer tug-of-war between a host of European giants, including Manchester United and Barcelona, but the Australian insisted the lure of playing at Anfield was stronger than the millions of pounds on offer elsewhere.
