Former Arsenal defender Oleg Luzhny is close to becoming the first close-season signing of Barclaycard Premiership newcomers Wolves.

The defender was having talks with manager Dave Jones at Molineux this afternoon and later underwent a medical, with the move set to be finalised on Monday.
