Redknapp welcomes 'fantastic' Sheringham

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp believes Teddy Sheringham will be “a great asset next season” after completing the signing of the former England striker.

Sheringham was released by Tottenham at the end of the last campaign and has signed a one-year deal with the Barclaycard Premiership newcomers.
