Beckham will choose Madrid - Roberto Carlos

Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos has given the first serious indication that the Spanish giants are in the hunt for David Beckham.

Joan Laporta, presidential candidate for arch-rivals Barcelona, is so far the only party to make an official bid – which was accepted by Manchester United - but a number of Europe’s top clubs have reportedly maintained an interest.
