Rangers look at Capucho
Rangers manager Alex McLeish has confirmed his interest in FC Porto striker Capucho.
The Light Blues boss is scouring the world for players to strengthen his squad for the defence of the treble next season.
But McLeish was quick to stress any transfer was still some way off for the 32-year-old, who helped the Portuguese club conquer Old Firm rivals Celtic in the UEFA Cup final last month.
McLeish told www.rangers.co.uk: “We are aware of him but it is premature to suggest that he is coming here for a medical.
“We have been linked with a number of players and he is one of them.”
McLeish is still waiting to hear from Ibrox striker Michael Mols over his offer of a new one-year deal.
