Crevoisier to leave Reds
Liverpool have confirmed that first-team coach Jacques Crevoisier is to leave the club. Crevoisier has spent two seasons at Anfield after joining the club from Uefa in July 2001.
He says he wants to spend more time with his family in France.
Crevoisier said: "It's been a very difficult decision for me to make, but after long talks with Gerard Houllier, I will be leaving the club this week for family reasons.
"The number of games we play has made it very difficult for me to spend enough time with my family in France and after two years on Merseyside I'm looking forward to a return to a more normal family routine."
Manager Gerard Houllier said: "We're all sad to see Jacques leave the club, but I understand the reasons why.
"I want to thank him for his contribution over the past two years and I'm pleased he was able to share our success in winning this season's Worthington Cup. We wish him all the best for the future."
