Longford get back to winning ways against UCD

Shane Barrett earned Town their first victory since the opening match of the season with a 76th minute winner.

The young striker got on the end of an Alan Kirby free kick to head past Patrick Jennings.

That put Town back in front after College had equalised a minute earlier when Robert McAuley converted a penalty after Vinny Perth took down Alan McNally.

Sean Francis had shot Town in front a minute before the break after Barrett worked the opening.
