Chairman says Allardyce can splash the cash

Bolton chairman Phil Gartside has assured Sam Allardyce he will have money available to strengthen his squad after their last-day relegation reprieve.

Bolton’s home win over Middlesbrough was enough to keep Allardyce’s side in the Barclaycard Premiership for a third season and Gartside will allow the manager to recruit new players.
