Belgrove face tough task against Rockmount

Belgrove Football Club will be attempting to make history on Sunday by winning the FAI Carlsberg Intermediate Cup for the first time when they travel to Cork to take on Rockmount in the final at Turner’s Cross (ko 3pm).

The Clontarf team were beaten in the final in 1975 but will have a tough time trying to beat Rockmount, where the local support should be a huge benefit.

Rockmount won the competition for the first time in 1999.
