Brooking may lead Hammers' fight

Trevor Brooking will meet with the West Ham board later today before deciding what role he will play in the fight against relegation following the health scare suffered by Glenn Roeder.

The club’s directors are due to meet to make a decision on who will take charge of the team for the final three games of the campaign.
