Ronaldo and Raul fit to face United

Ronaldo and Raul have both been passed fit for Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Manchester United on Wednesday.

Brazilian striker Ronaldo has shrugged off the bruising Primera Liga encounter with bitter rivals Barcelona at the weekend to make the trip to Manchester.

Raul, who had to pass a late fitness test on his ankle before Saturday‘s 1-1 draw, is also fit and is set to make Vicente del Bosque’s starting line-up.

Defender Oscar Minambres is the only player remaining in Madrid, having failed to recover from a sprained left ankle.

Former English international Steve McManaman is part of the 21-man squad.

Real go into the second leg of Wednesday’s quarter-final at Old Trafford 3-1 ahead.
