Scotland manager Berti Vogts has called for the Bank of Scotland Premier League to abandon its controversial split and reform itself as a 16-club set-up.

Vogts has made it clear he is no fan of the current arrangement that sees the league split into two after 33 games, with clubs playing each other up to four times a season.
