Lofthouse calls it a day...again

Bolton legend Nat Lofthouse has called it quits at the Trotters for the second time.

The former England striker, now 77, has given up the rest of his day-to-day duties with the Lancashire club where he made his name half a century ago.

Although he will continue to act as life president and attend matches at the Reebok Stadium, today’s announcement marks the end of over 60 years’ service, as player, trainer, coach, manager and scout before his latter-day involvement within the commercial arm of the club.
