Liverpool lead Leeds 2-1 at half-time

Liverpool stormed into a two goal lead in the opening 19 minutes through Michael Owen and Danny Murphy against troubled Leeds on Peter Reid’s first game in charge.

But Leeds grabbed themselves a lifeline through Mark Viduka with a close range effort a minute from the break.
