Blackburn chief executive John Williams has insisted an amicable solution can still be achieved between manager Graeme Souness and striker Andy Cole.

Blackburn chief executive John Williams has insisted an amicable solution can still be achieved between manager Graeme Souness and striker Andy Cole.

Souness and Cole met yesterday and it is understood the former England striker refused to apologise for his part in a training ground row last Friday.
