Shearer misses international stage

Alan Shearer has revealed that he misses the cut and thrust of international football, three years after retiring from the England team.

Although, it remains to be seen whether Sven-Goran Eriksson can tempt the Newcastle captain back into the international fold, Shearer’s reputation as an England great remains untarnished.
