Houllier vows to look after Diouf

Gerard Houllier has vowed to “look after one of my children” and insists El Hadji Diouf’s spitting shame was not as bad as Eric Cantona’s kung-fu kick at a fan.

And the Liverpool boss maintains that despite condemning his players’ behaviour again, the Senegal striker will not be withdrawn from action and will play at Spurs in the Premiership on Sunday.
