Seaman's millennium milestone on hold

England goalkeeper David Seaman’s 1,000th senior appearance must be delayed after a hamstring injury put him out of Arsenal’s Barclaycard Premiership game at Blackburn tomorrow – along with skipper Patrick Vieira and centre-back Sol Campbell.

Manager Arsene Wenger is optimistic the problem is not serious enough to prevent Seaman clocking up the grand milestone in next Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Valencia in Spain.
