FAI disappointed at FIFA decision

The Football Association of Ireland have expressed their disappointment at the decision taken by FIFA to postpone the World Youth Championships which were scheduled to run from March 25 to April 16, 2003 in the United Arab Emirates.

A spokesman for the FAI said he was disappointed for the squad of players who were due to play in the UAE but added that he understood FIFA’s decision and looked forward to news of a rescheduling of the Championships.
