Leeds boss Terry Venables has told Manchester United counterpart Alex Ferguson to forget hopes of overhauling Arsenal for the Barclaycard Premiership title.

Venables believes the current eight-point gap between the two championship rivals represents a bridge too far for Ferguson and his side, who he feels are best equipped to again win the Champions League.
