Dolan steps down as St Pat's boss

Pat Dolan has stepped down as manager of St Patrick's Athletic.

A statement from the Inchicore club late last night revealed that Dolan will not be signing a new contract at the club.

It is unlikely that the former Saint's boss will be out of a job for long. It is expected he will be on Leeside later today to be unveiled as the new Cork City manager.

City chairman Brian Lennox has called a press conference for noon today, when a successor to Liam Murphy will be announced.
