England skipper David Beckham is fit to face Juventus in Manchester United’s Champions League clash at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Beckham was a doubt after taking a blow on the calf during Saturday’s FA Cup defeat against Arsenal, which sparked the rage which ended with manager Alex Ferguson accidentally kicking a boot into Beckham’s face.

But Ferguson confirmed that Beckham was fit enough to face the Italians at today’s press conference.

Juan Sebastian Veron is definitely missing through suspension, while Ryan Giggs (calf) and Paul Scholes (groin) are hoping to shake off minor niggles.
