Carter stalls on Blues deal

Darren Carter, whose goal clinched Birmingham City’s return to the Premiership, has still to sign a new contract.

Carter, who has 17 months left of his current deal, scored the decisive penalty in the shoot-out with Norwich in the Division One play-off final at the Millennium Stadium last May.
