Former Irish goalkeeper Packie Bonner is due to be unveiled as the FAI's new technical director later today.

The Donegal man, currently the goalkeeping coach with the Irish senior team, is believed to have beaten Noel King and Jimmy McDermott in the race for the technical director's position.
