Soccer star Rooney on verge of making England history

Teenage soccer star Wayne Rooney was celebrating today after learning he will become England’s youngest international player.

Coach Sven Goran Eriksson intends to give the 17-year-old Everton player his England debut in the friendly against Australia at West Ham’s Upton Park stadium in east London on Wednesday.
