Balde vows Rangers revenge

Celtic's two-goal hero Bobo Balde has vowed to inflict revenge on Rangers when the Old Firm giants clash in the final of the CIS Insurance Cup next month.

The big defender provided two of his side's three goals in a 3-0 defeat of Dundee United in the competition's second semi-final.

And with holders Rangers having booked their final place on Tuesday with a 1-0 win over Hearts, Balde was already looking forward to another derby showpiece.

The last time the rivals met at Hampden was in last season's Scottish Cup final, in which Rangers came from behind to win 3-2 thanks to a last-minute goal from Peter Lovenkrands.

Earlier, Alex McLeish's men had beaten Celtic in the semi-final of the CIS Insurance Cup before going on to lift that trophy.
