The Football Association have confirmed they are looking into incidents of crowd trouble which occurred during last month’s Sheffield derby.

The Football Association have confirmed they are looking into incidents of crowd trouble which occurred during last month’s Sheffield derby.

A spokesman from the FA’s Crowd Control Unit told www.thefa.com: “The incidents that occurred were of a very serious nature.

“We have written to Sheffield United and to the police as we continue to gather information on this incident.”

The game took place at Bramall Lane on January 17 with the Blades running out 3-1 winners with goals from Steve Kabba, Michael Brown and Wayne Allison cancelling out Alan Quinn’s opener for Sheffield Wednesday.
