Galway will meet Drogheda in the promotion/relegation play-off final after Harps failed to overturn a 2-0 semi-final first leg deficit.

Donal O'Brien got Harps back into the tie on 64 minutes when heading them in front on the night after Robbie Forde could only parry Declan Boyle's shot.

But that was as good as it got for the pre-season promotion favourites who face another term in the First Division.

Harps dominated the match and Forde had made a great stop from Kevin McHugh just on the blow of half time, minutes after player/boss Jonathan Speak shot over from a good position.
