Defeat adds to Venables doubts

Terry Venables insisted after Leeds’ 2-0 defeat at Everton that he still had not had time to consider his future at the club.

Venables has seen six top stars sold this season, Robbie Fowler and Jonathan Woodgate departing this week – the latter being one player the Leeds boss believed would not be allowed to leave the club.
