Drogheda beat Cobh to reach play-off final

Drogheda United 2 Cobh Ramblers 0 (Drogheda win 4-2 on aggregate)

First half goals from Declan O'Brien and Shaun Gallagher fired Drogheda into the promotion/relegation play-off final and brought Cobh's season to an end.

Drogheda took the lead on 25 minutes. Andy Myler collected captain Aidan Lynch's ball to set up O'Brien to shoot home from 12 yards.

The second goal arrived a minute before the interval. Cobh skipper Mark Clifford gave the ball away to Gallagher who played a one-two with Myler to score from the edge of the area.
