Bruton on form for Ramblers

Willie Bruton hit two penalties to keep Cobh's promotion dream alive.

Drogheda were good value for their interval lead after Declan O'Brien shot them in front on 35 minutes.

But Bruton levelled on 56 minutes when scoring from the spot after Steve Yelverton had been brought down by Robbie Dunne.

Andy Myler then put Drogheda back in front with a 64th minute free-kick.

But Bruton had the final say when slotting home his second penalty seven minutes from time after Stephen Gray handled.

The return is at 02 Park on Saturday evening.
