Leeds striker Mark Viduka has appealed to the Football Association against his sending-off in Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round tie at Gillingham.

Leeds striker Mark Viduka has appealed to the Football Association against his sending-off in Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round tie at Gillingham.

The Australian forward was dismissed for violent conduct after a clash with Andy Hessenthaler which left the Gills player-manager flat out on the floor.

However, following Viduka’s claim for wrongful dismissal the FA have referred the matter to their video advisory panel for further investigation.
