Sherwood set to join Pompey

First Division leaders Portsmouth are today expected to unveil the signing of Tim Sherwood from Tottenham.

Pompey have announced they will hold a press conference this afternoon, and the arrival of Sherwood would end a long chase for the midfielder who has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane.
