Lampard tipped for England role

Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri called on Sven-Goran Eriksson to give Frank Lampard a regular run in the England side after the midfielder’s starring role in his side’s comeback against Leeds.

Lampard inspired Chelsea to a late revival at Stamford Bridge, enabling them to recover from going behind twice to clinch a 3-2 victory which reinforced their claims for a Champions League spot.
