New Irish manager, Brian Kerr, refused to comment on whether he will ask Roy Keane to return to the Irish panel.

Kerr was unveiled as the successor to Mick McCarthy at a press conference in the capital today. The 49-year-old, who spent six successful years in charge of the Irish Youth sides, is expected to appoint former Ireland defender Chris Hughton as his assistant, alongside long-term colleague Noel O'Reilly.
