Birmingham City’s new signing Matthew Upson has assured Steve Bruce he will not look to leave the Premiership newcomers if they are relegated.

Birmingham City’s new signing Matthew Upson has assured Steve Bruce he will not look to leave the Premiership newcomers if they are relegated.

Upson has no safety net in his contract which says he can leave if Birmingham’s stay in the top flight lasts only one season after his move from champions Arsenal.
