FAI selection committee complete interview process

The FAI's selection committee was locked in talks in a Manchester hotel last night after completing interviews for the vacant Republic of Ireland manager's job.

The three-man committee grilled Philippe Troussier, Kevin Moran and Bryan Robson yesterday, and they join Brian Kerr, Peter Reid, Frank Stapleton and John Aldridge on the short-list for the appointment.

The FAI trio of Milo Corcoran, John Delaney and Kevin Fahy are expected to be back in Dublin today, as the Association meets to discuss allegations of irregular bonus payments to former boss Mick McCarthy.
