Kidd is 'obvious choice', says Eriksson

Brian Kidd has been appointed as number two to England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, in a part-time capacity.

Eriksson revealed it had become clear that Kidd was the "obvious choice" to replace McClaren after talks with some of his players, including Beckham.
