Rovers slip up in battle for Intertoto spot

Shamrock Rovers have slipped up in their quest for a place in the Intertoto Cup after being held to a scoreless draw by Derry City at the Brandywell last night.

The result kept Derry clear of the Premier Division relegation zone, but gives Cork City the opportunity to steal the Intertoto Cup place from Rovers.
