Shelbourne blow chance to close gap on Bohs
Shelbourne 1 Longford Town 1
Shelbourne blew the chance to close the gap on Premier Division league leaders Bohemians to just two points last night.
The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Longford Town at Tolka Park.
Sean Francis fired the midlanders in front on 13 minutes, but Jim Gannon levelled five minutes before the break to give Pat Fenlon's side a lifeline.
Three points for Bohs against Shels on Sunday would virtually ensure their second title in three years.
